Seed of the Soul offers permaculture food forestry consultation, design, implementation, and maintenance services. We specialize in planting food forest systems with a wide variety of edible trees, shrubs, vines, and herbs.

For examples of our favorite polycultures to install, please visit the following links: tropical staple crops, exotic fruit orchards, citrus assemblies, drought tolerant perennial gardens, antioxidant-rich plant assemblies, and high-value crops.

Additionally, we specialize in planting rare Hawaiian sugarcane varieties, bamboo forests and windbreaks, conservation plant assemblies, and aromatic lei gardens.

We never utilize pesticides, herbicides, or toxic materials in our planting and strive to be as ecologically respectful as possible.

  • Seed.

    The Seed bundle is perfect for plant-savvy people who are prepared to do the food forest implementation themselves.

    This bundle includes an on-site walkthrough; a full “permaculture” property profile; contour, sector, zone, and plant mapping; a water management plan; plant, material, and labor cost analysis, and some wonderful contacts to help you along your journey.

  • Flower.

    For those who do not want to do the implementation themselves, this is the right bundle for you.

    The Flower bundles comes with everything included in the Seed bundle — as well as: - plant, material, and labor cost analysis; projected timelines and phases; and implementation by the Seed of the Soul team.

  • Fruit.

    The Fruit bundle is the most popular of our offerings. It includes all aspects of the Seed and Flower bundles, as well as 12 months of maintenance following the installation.

  • We perform conscious clearing, weed eating, and light pruning.

  • We plant with genuine care, appreciation, and our highest intention.

  • We diagnose nutrient deficiencies and add organic amendments to ensure your plants thrive.

    EM1 inoculation. EM1 is an all-natural probiotic for plants and soils. We utilize EM1 to revive and improve soil health and function by increasing beneficial microbe activity. EM improves fertilizer effectiveness by reducing leaching and improving plant availability leading to increased performance in your holistic farming system.

  • Mulching 2-3 times a year is imperative to build and protect healthy soil. Mulching also ensures adequate hydration and protection for plants. We mulch fresh plantings upon their entry into the ground.
